Ron Perlman continues unfazed by his #TDS…but at least he begins with honest self-assessment.
??????
I know, I know, I’m slow. But I finally figured out that the republican party is the party of Donald J Trump. Meaning dignity-less, empathy-less, patriotic-less, and for whites only.

The ever-present Rob Reiner, replete with the “Ron Perlman” expletives … (please excuse – no way to alter the original tweet).
✅ Spearheaded multiple state ballot initiative campaigns to increase taxes on Californians.
✅ Led efforts to overturn California’s ban on gay marriage.
✅ Supports a variety of pro-choice abortion positions.
✅ Vocal Iraq war protester.
✅ Used a psychiatrist’s note to avoid being drafted during the Vietnam War.
✅ Has compared conservative Republicans to Hamas terrorists and Nazis.
✅ Supports decriminalizing all drug use, including opiate use.
✅ In 2017, Reiner formed The Committee to Investigate Russia, a website to publicize allegations against Trump related to Russian Government interference related to the 2016 elections.
??????
Not one Republican House Member gives a flying fuck about the welfare of the American people.

I guess it just escaped Bette Midler’s attention that the IRS has already reviewed Trump’s taxes?
??????
Well, the #FormerPresident’s taxes are now in the hands of the #ManhattanDA. I bet right now he’s so nervous he can barely concentrate on cheating at golf.

As for the protestations of Representative Al Green, at least Frederick Douglass recognized a fundamental difference in his day, “Between the Christianity of this land, and the Christianity of Christ, I recognize the widest possible difference–so wide, that to receive the one as good, pure, and holy, is of necessity to reject the other as bad, corrupt, and wicked.” (1845).
And let’s just take extreme exception to the use of the first person, “You!” That’s a despicable use of the public platform on the floor of the House of Representatives.
??????
Rep. Al Green on the House floor, responding to a Republican who cited God in opposing transgender rights: “You used God to enslave my foreparents. You used God to segregate me in schools. You used God to put me in the back of he bus. Have you no shame?” https://t.co/h6ZNAT67Uy

Please save us the self-righteous positioning on a bill that was going to pass purely along partisan lines by the Democrat held House anyway.
??????
It’s Friday night.
I’m on Capitol Hill to vote for the American Rescue Plan.
Where’s your representative?
If they’re at the CPAC conference, they’re in the wrong place…. pic.twitter.com/W1qSjhzwpJ
— Rep. Jason Crow (@RepJasonCrow) February 27, 2021
Bill Kristol continues to confirm that he’s just a shameless partisan hack, completely void of any redeeming original thoughts.
??????
One does have the sense that CPAC has gone from resembling a Star Wars bar to a Munich beer hall.

What point is Bernie trying to make here?
✅ Jeff Bezos’ wealth increased by an estimated $48 billion.
✅ Zoom founder’s wealth grew by over $2.5 billion.
✅ Former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer’s net worth increased by $15.7 billion.
✅ Casino magnate Sheldon Adelson saw his wealth increase by $5 billion.
✅ Elon Musk saw an increase of $17.2 billion.
It’s called “Government Intervention” Bernie … “Wealth-friendly” tax laws & loopholes, free government money, unequal bailouts, tech stocks have increased in value.
So, in essence, Bernie is part of the problem. And I’m pretty sure he’s spent a few million on himself.
??????
Walmart, the largest employer in America, is owned by the richest family in America. Their wealth has gone up $50 billion during the pandemic, and they spend millions on themselves. But the company they own starts workers off at $11 an hour. That is outrageous. pic.twitter.com/NbKkuZjz5a

I’m guessing Robert Reich would have enough money to enjoy a $30 Big Mac.
??????
If wages had kept pace with productivity gains since 1968, the current minimum wage would be more than $24 an hour. Instead, it’s been stuck at $7.25 since 2009.
Wage theft is the real looting in America.

As the irony blazes past Jennifer Rubin’s #TDS head, she fails to see that Joe Biden is probably asleep this weekend too.

Same old crowd … same old tired diary entries … do they think nobody is paying attention?
That’s All Folks!
