In a comical move even for a czar-happy president who has rewarded dozens of cronies with distinguished titles, the White House has named the Obama’s personal Chicago cook as “Senior Policy Adviser for Healthy Food Initiatives.”

It’s no joke, even though is sounds like a bad one. The Chicago chef’s rapid ascension, reported this week by a conservative Washington D.C. newspaper, has been kept under the radar for the last month. Sam Kass went from being a 20-something, Windy City gourmet cook—privately paid by the Obama’s to feed them—to big-time White House adviser in a matter of months.

You can’t make this stuff up: Obama names his cook the national Food Czar.

Could it be that Bernie Goldberg was right? Is there the slightest chance that there is a LIBERAL MEDIA BIAS? Nah … say it ain’t so Joe:
According to records obtained by The Daily Caller, at several points during the 2008 presidential campaign a group of liberal journalists took radical steps to protect their favored candidate. Employees of news organizations including Time, Politico, the Huffington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Guardian, Salon and the New Republic participated in outpourings of anger over how Obama had been treated in the media, and in some cases plotted to fix the damage.

In one instance, Spencer Ackerman of the Washington Independent urged his colleagues to deflect attention from Obama’s relationship with Wright by changing the subject. Pick one of Obama’s conservative critics, Ackerman wrote, “Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares — and call them racists.”

We have only just BEGUN to fight …:
Will Republicans win the muscle to pass laws over the objection of the entire Democratic Party? Only if every conservative grasps that this is the first chance that conservatives have had since the New Deal to roll back secular nanny-statism — and that it may be the last chance, too. ObamaCare, for example, will only be repealed if Republicans do not need a single Democrat vote in Congress. If ObamaCare is not repealed soon, then it will become one of those indestructible “entitlement” programs which gobble up huge chunks of the economy.

Conservatives should also enact, in narrow window of real power, reforms that dramatically devolve control over education back to families and which encourage the rapid growth of small business, which is not only the economic dynamo of American enterprise, but also the only counterweight to the corporate fascism Obama is trying to force on America.

The horrible far left hacks at Think Progress once again were caught lying about supposed racism in the tea party movement. On Monday they posted some random editorial – from early July – published in a New Hampshire paper – by some lone racist and try to link him to the tea party…. But if you read the whole editorial you see that “tea party” is not even mentioned in the racist editorial! The tea party is not linked to this racist in anyway.

Think Progress just took an editorial written by some random racist and then they threw tea party on the title of their post. What horrible dishonest cranks.

Despite the fact that America remains in a severe economic crisis, federal government employment is booming in the nation’s capital.

While many in the media will conceal this incident, coverage of the NAACP’s false claim the Tea Party Movement is racist can be found on all networks.

If America knew the truth about the real violence and racism that is pervasive in the pro illegal alien and pro Comprehensive Immigration Reform AMNESTY movement, then CIR would be destroyed.

The growing divide and tension between the Obama administration and the business world is a cause for national concern. As Clive Crook wrote in the Financial Times, Obama is “a president under business attack.” He is certainly under sharp criticism and for good reason: He has lost the confidence of much of the business community, whose worries over taxes, the dramatically increased costs of new regulation, and a general perception that the administration is hostile toward them and may take yet harsher steps, are holding back investment and growth. In the midst of a weak economy accompanied by levels of unemployment unprecedented since the Great Depression, it is critical that the government in Washington appreciate that confidence is an imperative if the business community is to invest, take risks with start-ups, and altogether get the economy going again to put the millions of unemployed back to productive work.

The organization, calling itself Free Press, claims media companies are engaging in “hate speech” because a disproportionate number of radio and cable-news networks are owned by non-minorities.

The Iron Dome missile defense system passed its last tests and will be ready for deployment by November, Defense Ministry said Monday. If it proves effective, the system could have far-reaching strategic implications for Israel’s ongoing battle against militant groups on its borders.

The Iron Dome system uses sophisticated radar to track incoming rockets, intercepting and destroying them far from their targets. It is the only anti-rocket system of its kind in the world, according to experts.

Its aims to protect Israel from homemade and imported rockets fired by Palestinian militants in Gaza, as well as the more sophisticated rockets in the hands of Hizbullah guerrillas on Israel’s border with Lebanon.

Jerusalem Post … Intelligence sources say Egyptian president could die within a year:
Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is terminally ill, according to US and other Western intelligence agencies, The Washington Times reported on Monday.

Most Western intelligence agencies were said to have estimated that the Egyptian president is dying from terminal cancer in his stomach and pancreas. Earlier this month, Mubarak was reportedly treated in a hospital in France, and in March his gallbladder was operated on in Germany.

A Central European intelligence officer told The Washington Times that Mubarak will probably die within a year, before Egyptian presidential elections in September 2011.
