I will pray that acorn LOSES the suit. This has NOTHING do with “recording” laws being broken. This has to do with the simple fact that acorn was CAUGHT and EXPOSED for the liars that they are and what do liars do as usual? They RAIL. Liar spelled backwards is Rail.

That’s all fine for the NWO freaks installing cameras on street poles everywhere and them wanting to vaccinate people with RFID chips and never mind the people screaming violation and privacy. But when the same recording tactics are used on the freaks, they make a big circus out of it and cry wolf.

See the hypocrisy. You can’t have it both ways. The TRUTH ALWAYS comes out in the end. Tit for tat, butter for fat.

I think it is entirely appropriate to compare the missile defense shield to the Maginot Line. From a strictly technical view, such a shield would be exactly as effective against nuclear attack, or Russian adventurism, as the Maginot Line was against Hitler. And just like the Maginot Line, it is a wonderful boondoggle for defense contractors looking to make a fortune at the expense of US taxpayers. Obama was right to pull funding for this piece of corporate welfare. Completing the deal for Poland to buy 48 F-16 fighter jets will be far more effective.

IT’S SO INTERESTING THAT YOU ARE SO QUICK TO CONDEM SOMETHING WITHOUT BOTHERING TO FIND OUT THE WHOLE STORY……………..IT STARTED OUT AS A FAIR HOUSING ISSUE AND AN ATTEMPT TO PROTECT A FAMILY FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY FROM THE WRATH OF THEIR INTOLERANT NEIGHBORS BY ASKING THEM TO REMOVE THEIR COUNTRY’S FALG FROM THEIR WINDOW (WHICH WAS THEIR ATTEMPT TO NETWORK WITH OTHER FOLKS FROM THEIR ETHNIC BACKGROUND) NEXT THING YOU KNOW THE FAIR HOUSING PEOPLE ARE THREATNING TO FINE US 10,000 UNLESS WE MADE THE POLICY FOR EVERYONE. OK NO FLAGS, NO RELIGIOUS SYMBOLS AND NO POLITICS………………LETS ALL LIVE IN PEACE…………….WRONG! NO GOOD DEED IS LEFT UNPUNISHED………… THERE IS A RULING FROM THE 9TH DISTRICT COURT OF APPEALS THAT CAME OUT LAST YEAR THAT I WAS UNAWARE OF THAT STATES THAT EVERYTHING FROM THE WINDOWS IN IS THE EXCLUSIVE DOMAIN OF THE TENANTS., AUTO ARE CONSIDERED PERSONAL PROPERTY OF THE TENANT AND IS ALSO THEIR DOMAIN. SINCE YOUR PARENTS RAISED A PERFECT CHILD WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE TO SAVE YOUR EMPLOYER FROM A $10,000 FINE. YES I DID REMIND THE UNHAPPY TENANTS THAT SOMEWHERE UP THE LINE THEIR ANCESTORS WERE IMMIGRANTS TOO. CAN’T HELP BUT FEEL SORRY FOR PEOPLE THAT ARE COMING TO THIS COUNTRY FOR A BETTER LIFE, IF THIS IS THE KIND OF INTOLERANCE THEY FACE ON AN EVERYDAY BASIS.

Do you realize how often when crimes against gays and lesbians occur that police usually turn a blind eye because they think they brought it on themselves by being gay/lesbian?? The same mentality they used to ahve aginst rape victims. We needed legislation and laws for that why not this? It happens every day all over the world. Do your research.

When George Bush assumed the office, he did nothing for the Israeli/Palestinian conflict for several years and derided Bill Clinton efforts as shooting for the moon. He could have intervene sooner but he did nothing. Bush was unpopular in the U.S and despised by the rest of the world by the time he left office. That’s a fact.

My heart and prayers go out to all the victims, their families and friends.

From all the news reports it appears this Major is a career military man and that in his current position for less than a year and was not going well. He did not want to be deployed and in fact wanted out of the Army, so he paid back his military student loans and hired an attorney.

The reason may have been that he was being harassed and called names like “camel jockey ”. I guess all that sensitivity training for those with bigotry tendencies are all for not. (Can training real change the way you were brought up?)

Another reason is called PTSD by proxy, the stress of treating PTSD in other soldiers make you go a little crazy yourself. Its even more stressful because most of the higher ranks don’t even believe in such thing as PTSD. Their denial prompts them to tell suffering soldiers to “drink it off.” Some civilians in the defense dept feel the same way no doubt IMO, it’s why hardly anything is mentioned of PTSD until one of these violent episodes occurs. These people see PTSD as a cop-out or an excuse. First we need to have an understanding that PTSD actually is real before we can ever hope to help treat it (does anyone believe that being shot at or killing your fellow man is not going to affect you in some way either then or in the future?). I guess with the high soldier suicide rate before and after deployment kinda takes care of the complaints from coming in (so those who said he should have just killed himself, well that’s already happening ). What real ticked me off when I heard that the military was trying to say that some soldiers coming back from this war with PTSD or other psychological disorders had “Pre-Existing Conditions” and that the military would not pay to treat them, I think it has been corrected but what a bunch of asses they break you and don’t want to pay.

The final issue is why does the military want to keep people in their ranks that no longer want to be there is it just sheer number? I mean is it ten percent, twenty percent. Is it that it is the only contract in the US that you can’t get out of unless to kill yourself or kill your fellow soldiers? It does not make any sense to me.

I guess the Major could just be another wacko like Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nicholas, of course McVeigh was executed and apparently because Nicholas became a Christian he received a life sentenced. I real think if he gets that far the Major will get the former and not in a million years the latter.

This is so messed up, hopefully they will make some changes that make sense.

We can be sure of one thing: the islamofascists all over the world are cheering the murderer and laughing at us. Why are they laughing ? Becasue we Americans are so stupid that we cannot even recognize, accept, and deal with an Islamo-fascists terroist attack on our own soil. Where will it end ? WIll we ever wake up again, or will it take another set of airplanes crashing into buildings ?

What we SHOULD be doing is starting an immediate review of every muslim in every military service to weed out the rest of these kooks BEFORE they attack.

We don’t want socialized medicine we want affordable healthcare. We don’t want capitalist medicine we want affordable healthcare. How can we get affordable healthcare? Through the insurance industry? Through the government? Through our employers? Through our own payments? None of these have provided affordable healthcare for all the people. Since healthcare is considered a service that all people should be afforded we need to come up with a system that works and is affordable. Other counties have done this and it is working. Look at the French system for example. It is easy for people of means to say they are satisfied with their health care but what about the others? We are not asking for the government to be our doctors or run the hospitals nor have China pay for our care. We are trying to solve the problem of healthcare for all through our collective efforts. Our government acts as us collectively. So it is through our collective efforts we wish to establish a system of affordable healthcare. There are plenty of health care systems around the world that can be used as guides for an affordable healthcare system.

“If there is no God, there is no freedom to choose.”

Any idea what this premise is based on? Why would a god be necessary for choice? Why would a god be necessary for logic?

Atheism may indeed entail that every religion is wrong, but don’t nearly all religions entail that every other religion is wrong? I hardly see a difference, and certainly not a practical difference.

  30. November 15th, 2009 at 10:30 | #30

I believe the author’s premise about freedom of choice addresses the issue of forces much greater than a single human being in a “godless” universe. I haven’t thoroughly thought out the “one religion versus another” question but it does bring up a point about one of them might actually be RIGHT.

    The Purpose of Government

Is government at any level, invented, designed or fashioned for the purpose of providing justice or preventing injustice? For those who look to government as our nation’s highest authority, the dispensing of justice its highest duty, instead of a nation based on freedom principles, where the people are the highest authority and government’s highest duty is to prevent injustice, yours is a happy lot under the modern Democrat. There is a major difference between justice given and injustice prevented, just like equality and inequality. Justice and equality inspire admiration, but preventing injustice and encouraging inequality made America the great nation it became. It is easy to decide which is best when comparing America’s prosperity to almost 200 other nations in the world where most starve, are whipped, beaten and murdered by their prosperous elite rulers. Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn’t it the democrats that “dug in their heels and said ’slow down, it’s too early, things aren’t bad enough” to slavery?

  35. December 7th, 2009 at 23:40 | #35

You are correct sir … it was Democrats who supported slavery and went to war against the United States to defend and extend the institution of slavery. It was Democrats who adopted Jim Crow laws. It was Democrats who formed the Ku Klux Klan. Blacks weren’t even welcome into the Democrat Party until 1935. It was Democrats who opposed the 1866 Civil Rights Acts. It was Democrats who collectively opposed the 13th Amendment to end slavery. It was Democrats who collectively opposed the 14th Amendment to give blacks citizenship. It was Democrats who collectively opposed the 15th Amendment to give blacks the right to vote. It was Democrats who supported Plessy v Ferguson legalizing Segregation. And it was Southern Democrats who debated against the passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

Further inquiries should be directed to Senator Robert Byrd, long time antagonist supporter of Civil Rights.

I oppose the health care bill because I feel that it is a “Trojan horse” disguised as a humanitarian project. The socialist liberals are trying to pass this in order to create a totalitarian communist government. If this government run health care bill passes we will be well on our way to having virtually every aspect of our lives under the control of a communist government. This health care bill does not have any thing to do with the Democrats “compassion” for those who are in need. It’s all about POWER and CONTROL.

Secondly, health care does NOT belong in the hands of people who have no respect for life. Democrats who advocate abortions will also advocate euthanasia, and assisted suicide under the guise of compassion. This communist liberal Democratic Party is managing to create before our very eyes a “culture of death”. If the Democrats were truly compassionate they would not be advocating and promoting infanticide.

I oppose the Health Care Bill because we have too much debt! America needs to pay off what is owed to China so that we are not so obligated to them.

I believe we should work to improve the health care system, while also providing assistance for those who truly need it. Government budgets should NEVER take priority over a health care system which nourishes and provides compassion for patients. The socialist Democrats will value cold hard numbers over precious life. People will die sooner because of those who pass this bill.

Let’s fight this with all our might! Please contact your Senators and tell them that you oppose the Health Care Bill. I advise you to listen to a brief (10 min) YouTube recording of “Ronald Reagan Speaks Out Against Socialized Medicine” recorded back in 1961 at th following link:

I wonder if this is going on in Atlanta area schools?
I’ve just finished reading “The Language Police” about how literature and history are being shredded in the name of political correctness (and exposing those evil Europeans, who are so inferior to indigenous people). It’s terrifying. I’d like to get some of the textbooks being used in Atlanta schools to check them out (and no doubt jack up my blood pressure!)

I don’t know about the situation in Atlanta schools, but with a student in Gwinnett, my radar is now active!
