I was seduced by a ShamWow, the spiffy chamois cloth that promised to replace bathmats, sponges and paper towels from what CNBC has rated the No. 1 infomercial of all time.
… a colleague mentioned that he’d purchased a giant roll of something called The Original German Shammy for $5, and he felt that his “sham” Wows worked just as well.
I decided to put the ShamWow and The Original German Shammy to the test.
AND?
Less-expensive competitor called The Original German Shammy performs better
GEE … IMAGINE THAT.
