Liberal Kodak Moments: photographic moments that define the BAD JUDGMENT of the Left

Y'all just don't get it, do you?

Thanks for the memories!
By Jeffrey Lord @ American Spectator: This is not a presidential year — but the values issue, a seeming no-show at first — has now jumped to center stage with the Ground Zero Mosque. A Time magazine poll not only shows 61% of Americans — not just New Yorkers — opposing the Mosque, a full 70% have cited the construction as “insult to the victims of the attacks on the World Trade Center.” Which is to say, an issue not of religious freedom as its liberal proponents claim but — yes — bad judgment.…Don’t think for a moment that the new emblem of this year’s campaign — the Ground Zero Mosque and Obama’s support for it — will be used as anything other than an illustration of colossal bad judgment across the board. Bad judgment that will have a considerable negative impact on an election that was already sending Democrats reaching for the political smelling salts. Races for House, Senate and gubernatorial seats from New York to Nevada are going to be affected by this — as Harry Reid’s rush to separate from the Obama stance on the Mosque issue so vividly demonstrates. MEMO TO LIBS: See ya … wouldn’t want to be ya!

Remember when we said Liberalism was a mental disorder? IT STILL IS! Libtard James Carville is a perfect example

How to Blame Bush: Lie … By Randall Hoven @ American Thinker
Has this happened to you? You start reading an article written by a Democrat, wondering if it is just possible that he has a legitimate point. But one or two paragraphs in, you find yourself so deep in outrageously false premises that you wonder if you share the same planet. How do they manage to pack so many falsehoods into so few words?Case in point: James Carville. He wrote recently in the Financial Times.
Democrats would not be playing the blame game with one another for the [Massachusetts] loss or for the healthcare [sic] debacle if they had only pointed fingers at those (or in this case, the one) who put Americans (and most of the world) in the predicament we’re in: George W. Bush.
But James did not stop there. He went from advice mode to I-live-on-a-different-planet mode in one paragraph.
It is under his disastrous tenure in the White House that health insurance premiums nearly doubled for the average American family and the number of uninsured skyrocketed. It was under Mr Bush that the deficit spiralled out of control as we fought an unnecessary and endless $3,000bn war in Iraq and enacted the largest unfunded entitlement programme in history with the Medicare prescription drug benefit. It was Mr Bush’s economic team that worshipped at the Church of Deregulation and was asleep at the wheel as banks and insurance companies became too big to fail.
By my count, that is nine falsifiable claims in three sentences. Time for some fact-checking.Private health care spending grew an average of 6.3% per year from 2001 through 2008. That is an eight-year increase of 63%, not a doubling. More importantly, private health spending grew faster before Bush. In the last three years under Clinton, 1997-2000, it grew 7.9%, 7.1%, and 6.7%, respectively. In the 1980s, it grew 11.3% per year. In the ’70s, 12.1%. (HHS Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. See NHE tables, Table 1.) In short, growth in private health care spending did not “double” under Bush, and in fact, it was lower under him than previously.
Wait … there’s more. Carville gets the full VEGAMATIC treatment:Continue reading this story HERE

BURT PRELUTSKY: Where Are Liberals Hatched? (CLUE: mental institutions)

Via Town HallI used to be what I thought was a liberal. If, at the time, anyone had asked me to explain myself, I would have said that I opposed Jim Crow laws, that I believed workers were entitled to make a decent wage and work in a safe environment, and that American citizens shouldn’t be discriminated against because of their race, religion or national origin.I quit being a liberal because I didn’t believe that members of particular minority groups deserved advantages denied to others, that illegal aliens weren’t entitled to anything but a swift kick to the backside, that being a devout Christian didn’t make you a bad person, and that capitalism was a system that worked, while socialism not only didn’t work but most often turned into tyranny.I honestly don’t know why there are so many liberals today and I certainly can’t imagine why they have such a lousy agenda. I have come up with a theory. Here in California, roughly 30 years ago, because of budget cuts, a great many people were released from insane asylums. They wound up living in the streets, which explains the large number of homeless people, even though Democrats would have you believe that those are normal people who simply lost their jobs along the way.

LINK: What Exactly Do Those Tea Party Folks Want? But why let facts get in the way of a permanent and massive expansion of the federal government. Now that Obama is president the gnashing of teeth we heard over “Bush and Cheney shredding the Constitution” will turn eerily silent as his administration starts monitoring “right wing wackos” who cling to antiquated notions like freedom of speech, freedom to assemble, freedom to petition for redress of grievances, and property rights.

It’s ironic that protests by the Left are deemed appropriate, but let folks exercise that pesky First Amendment freedom under the banner of Conservatism and it becomes a reprehensible and evil event. How about waking up to the smell of some Constitutional parchment lefties … your self righteous belligerence is now going to be hauled out behind the woodshed. We’ve had enough of this pseudo-intellectual claptrap. The defense of your feeble ideals from the lips of oxygen depleting pinheads like Janeane Garofalo, Keith Olbermann, Charlie Sheene, Bill Maher, Katie Couric, Frank Rich, Congressional libs and other pathetic hacks ad infinitum, are an insult to any reasonable American. It’s only because we have what you pejoratively refer to as FREEDOM, that your some of your insane notions are even tolerated. But tolerance has its limits … and when it comes to your belligerent shouting, talking sideways and generally dismissing other Americans who deserve equal time in the marketplace of ideas, you’re going to run up against a formidable counteraction. Like high school bullies, you are now voted “Most likely to have the ever living crap beat out of you” for being criminally despicable … THE HIGHJACKING OF AMERICA BY LOATHSOME GASBAGS IS OVER! The infectious disease you have inflicted upon this country will now be inoculated and eradicated by patriots who actually believe in the Constitution, either by discourse or by force. What do you say we flip a coin and the winner gets to choose? The way I see it, WE WIN EITHER WAY!
