This was part of an ongoing defense of the Tea Party, and in particular, a volley back against the NAACP for creating a week-long mainstream media-enabled attack built upon the provably false premise that a “mob” of the Tea Partiers hurled racial epithets at Congressmen Andre Carson (D-In) and Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga).“You are manufacturing this in a summer in which the economy is the No. 1 issue effecting blacks and whites in this country,” I said on Hennen’s show. “This country can ill-afford the schism of race to be exploited the way you are, based upon the false premise of the Tea Party being racist… This is absolutely manufactured for political gain.” My warning to Jealous was received with modest coverage in the conservative blogosphere. I strongly believed, and still believe, that I had irrefutable evidence that showed the NAACP caught in an act of racism far worse than anything the media and the Democrat Party had attempted to manufacture in a year and a half of relentlessly trying to destroy the Tea Party.
I knew I was going to be whacked hard, but I didn’t know when.

Tom Friedman, INSIDE THE NYT BUNKER: Tea Party is Wrong – Americans Want Higher Taxes and More Spending

Written by Editor on . Posted in Media industry

JUST SO YOU'LL KNOW, Michael Hirschorn, an Atlantic contributing editor, wrote in 2009 … "Ultimately, the death of The New YorkTimes—or at least its print edition—would be a sentimental moment, and a severe blow to American journalism. But a disaster? In the long run, maybe not."

Is he an IDIOT … or does he just play one on dead tree media?
FROM NOEL SHEPPARD, NewsBusters.com: Consider that after the impact the Tea Party has had on our nation’s politics the past 20 months, and the historic elections that just took place on November 2, Times columnist Tom Friedman actually thinks Americans aren’t interested in reducing the federal deficit but are instead yearning for higher taxes and greater government spending:
I believe most Americans don’t want a plan for deficit reduction. The Tea Party’s vision is narrow and uninspired. Americans want a plan to make America great again, and at some level they know that such a plan will require a hybrid politics — one that blends elements of both party’s instincts. And they will follow a president — they would even pay more taxes and give up more services — if they think he really has a plan to make America great again, not just bring him victory in 2012 by 50.1 percent.
The Tea Party’s vision is uninspired? Friedman ought to get out of 620 Eighth Avenue and talk to some Democrats that’ll be leaving Washington, D.C., when the new Congress gets sworn in next year.
In sum, Americans need to pay more of their hard-earned dollars to a government that has shown itself to be a reckless spender while expecting less in return.

Yesterday’s elections are old news. What about 2012?

The United States Senate in 2012: Red, redder, reddest.

Time to get saddled up people.
Via “I HATE THE MEDIA”: They say a month is an eternity in politics, so two years is … uhhh … even longer. Nevertheless, it looks like the Democrats face some big, big problems in 2012. They’ll have to defend 23 Senate seats compared to only ten for the Republicans. And to make matters even worse, the Republican seats all seem relatively safe while nearly half of the Democrat seats could be in jeopardy. Bottom line: Democrats will lose even more ground in 2012 and Republicans will take firm control of the Senate. Here’s a quick review of what the future may hold..

Mr. President … You Hear Us Now?

Written by Editor on . Posted in Obama Nation

Hello ... is anyone home?

Let’s hope His Obamaship has been listening to America.
Investor’s Business Daily: “”Communication breakdown” isn’t the Democrats’ problem — voters know what those in power did. But will the president accept what the voters have communicated to him, and apply the brakes?” …the American people have been saying as loudly as they can: Stop these people who are spending the country into ruin. And what was the Democrats’ reaction to those elections? To continue as fast as ever on their dream agenda: socialized medicine — enacted via a legislative trick to avoid a Senate filibuster; the biggest Keynesian spending stimulus in history, with only a 9.6% jobless rate to show for it; and a financial “reform” that preserves “too big to fail,” and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Is it going to be BUSINESS AS USUAL in the White House?
Gee … I hope not.

MESSAGE TO DEMS: This is America, stupid! Don’t disrespect the wishes of the electorate, who pay for everything.

More choice words from Kyle-Anne Shiver:
… Democrats have decided to transform America from the top-down position of tyrants, boldly challenging the people to resist. Our founders were brilliant men who put into our Constitution the legal means to transform this country by purely democratic means. But Barack Obama is not legally empowered to make America into what he thinks it ought to be. What we have in America today isn’t just a feckless bunch of big spenders running our economy off a cliff. We have a cadre of power-mad folks who have no respect for the rule of law or the Constitution they are sworn to protect. Respect for the will of the people is the very soul of democracy. Without it, liberty is nothing but a sham.
It comes down to one word: R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Dude!!
