The fingerprints of the preeminent funder of the activist Left today, George Soros, are all over the anti-American “Occupy Wall Street” movement. The seventh-wealthiest person in America (net worth: $22 billion), Soros has publicly embraced Occupy Wall Street and financially supports a left-wing group that is funneling money to the movement.

Until George W. Bush took office, the cries that our media system in America has fallen hostage to corporations had never been so fervent. Soros especially became vocal in this regard, spreading that same message around the country and internationally that democracy in America was in great peril due to a crisis in journalism: In the end, what the left wants is to take the profit incentive away from the business of media and get it out of the hands of the private sector. They cannot fathom the thought of corporations continuing to own the media outlets in America, because then they cannot control the content. Instead, the left would prefer to put their trust solely in the hands of the government and so-called philanthropists. To some, the phrase “new public media” might sound like Utopia. But look at where media is already heading today. When George Soros is building his own media empire to force his political ideology onto the American people, I simply don’t see how that plan protects democracy in our country. I may not like what I see and hear on every channel or at every web address these days. But I am afforded multiple points of view from a plethora of sources that are driven by the market demand. I am responsible enough to go to multiple sources, seek out the facts, and form my own opinions. I’d prefer for my government and George Soros not to form those for me. It’s widely believed the George Soros has a rather dim view of his own cultural heritage. What he needs is an EXTREME PERSONAL MAKEOVER. You’re gonna leave it ALL behind anyway … why not use some of your wealth to preserve a more positive legacy? I’ll bet we could even win over “Mr. Mean Jeans” himself, Glenn Beck!

What set Foxman and other Beck critics off was Beck’s discussion of Soros’ experience as a Jewish teenager living in Nazi-occupied Hungary during the Holocaust. Soros survived by living with a non-Jewish family and assuming a non-Jewish identity. Soros accompanied and observed his phony “godfather” delivering papers to Jews and confiscating their property. But the issue is not what Soros did or could have done as a teenager. Who are we to judge what a 14 year-old felt he had to do to stay alive in those horrific circumstances? What makes Soros so worthy of condemnation is his evident lack of any feeling at any time since for the suffering of Jews he had observed all around him. And Soros has turned on his fellow Jews ever since.

George Soros, The Self-Hating Jew Whose Money Cannot Buy Him Humanity. That’s a pretty caustic headline George … how about we work on changing all this criticism. Call me … I can help. Seriously.

Or is he finally “over” George W. Bush?

Via NYT Caucus blog: George Soros, the billionaire financier who was an energetic Democratic donor in the last several election cycles but is sitting this one out, is not feeling optimistic about Democratic prospects. “I made an exception getting involved in 2004,” Mr. Soros, 80, said in a brief interview Friday at a forum sponsored by the Bretton Woods Committee, which promotes understanding of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. “And since I didn’t succeed in 2004, I remained engaged in 2006 and 2008. But I’m basically not a party man. I’d just been forced into that situation by what I considered the excesses of the Bush administration.” Well, that’s very nice of you Mr. Soros.

Democrat Sugar Daddy bows out … sucks to be THEM.

Pastor Jim Wallis lied about receiving money from George Soros’s Open Society Institute. His organization, Sojourners, is a leftist “social justice” type of ministry. He and Sojourners have a history with Barack Obama that I have been tracking for a few years. When the Jeremiah Wright scandal erupted, candidate Barack Obama had to find religion — fast. Fortunately for him, he had a backup pastor in place and ready to go: Jim Wallis. Apparently, Obama felt right at home with Wallis. Don’t forget your pencil so you can connect all the dots.
