HUD Secretary Scott Turner just dropped a political flashbang: over $5.8 billion<\/em> in questionable Biden-era rental assistance payments \u2014 and not to struggling citizens, mind you. We\u2019re talking thousands of potential non-citizens<\/em> and more than 30,000 deceased \u201ctenants.\u201d<\/em> Because apparently, in Bidenomics, the phrase \u201caffordable housing\u201d extends all the way to the afterlife.<\/p>\n

And where did the ghost rent checks pile the highest? Blue fortress states. New York. California. Washington, D.C. \u2014 the usual suspects. These aren\u2019t just policy failures; they\u2019re ATM withdrawals from the public treasury, except the machine doesn\u2019t even ask for a PIN.<\/p>\n

Turner called it \u201ca massive abuse of taxpayer dollars,\u201d which is polite government-speak for \u201cthey treated your money like Monopoly cash.\u201d HUD, under Biden’s watch, slammed out rental checks with fewer verification safeguards than a dollar store sweepstakes. No audit integrity. No eligibility screening. Just a geyser of federal cash, flowing like holy water through leaky bureaucratic pipes \u2014 right into the pockets of people who were never supposed to receive it, or worse, who no longer exist.<\/p>\n

So, let\u2019s ask it plainly: When politicians say \u201cgovernment-funded,\u201d aren\u2019t they really saying \u201ctaxpayer-drained\u201d?
