Nationwide Class Action Filed by American Voters Against the U.S. Government, Senate, and House of Representatives for Alleged Legislative Ineptitude and Breach of Public Duty
Washington, D.C. — A historic Class Action Lawsuit has been formally filed in the United States Federal District Court on behalf of all registered American voters, naming the United States Government, the Senate, and the House of Representatives as defendants. The case alleges a long-standing pattern of ineptitude, incompetence, and absence of accountable leadership, resulting in substantial harm to the nation’s political integrity and civic trust.
The complaint—American Voters v. United States Government et al.—asserts that elected representatives have collectively failed to exercise responsible governance as required by constitutional and ethical standards of public service. According to the filing, persistent legislative gridlock, systemic disregard for bipartisan cooperation, and neglect of fiduciary obligations have eroded public confidence and undermined effective democratic function.
“Members of Congress and government leaders are entrusted to act with integrity, transparency, and diligence. The plaintiffs contend that this trust has been repeatedly violated,” said lead counsel representing the class. “This action seeks not only acknowledgment but reform.”
The lawsuit requests declaratory and injunctive relief, calling for the creation of an Independent Citizens’ Accountability Commission to monitor congressional performance, establish enforceable conduct benchmarks, and recommend systemic corrections in legislative procedures.
Class membership automatically includes all U.S. citizens of voting age. No individual registration is required during this preliminary phase. Further details regarding court scheduling, public notices, and procedural developments will be announced following judicial docket confirmation.
